About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our small but growing Clinical Affairs team and with the support of the Senior Manager you will be responsible for the preclinical development of our medical device products.
The essential responsibilities of this role are:
- Review of standards, guidelines and literature to develop safety and efficacy requirements
- Literature reviews including to assess hazards and risks
- Analyse and interpret research data and prepare study reports
- Protocol development and input into clinical and external testing
- Designing tests and interpreting and reporting results
- Ability to leverage research knowledge and experience to design scientifically sound studies
- Maintain the Quality Management System and documentation
About you
You will have a background in in microbiology or biochemistry with experience in a commercial research and product development setting, ideally within infection control. You will be working within highly collaborative cross-functional team but will be comfortable to take ownership of your projects with minimal supervision. Your communication and influencing skills will also be essential to keep stakeholders updated and projects on track.
Essential skills and experience:
- Experience within a commercial product research and development setting, ideally in infection control or microbiology
- At least 5 years of experience in designing and analysing preclinical or analytical studies
- PhD in a life sciences research discipline (or similar commercial experience)
- Outstanding interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills
- An agile, flexible and proactive mindset to master a fast-paced environment
