Job overview: Our client, an esteemed Asset Management Firm, is seeking a talented and driven individual to join their team as an Institutional Sales Associate. In this role, you will play a critical part in expanding the firm's institutional client base and driving revenue growth.

 

Responsibilities

 

       Formulate customized sales strategy to identify and engage institutional and corporate clients, aligning with the firm's objectives and target market segments.

       Utilize market research and networking techniques to identify potential clients and initiate contact through targeted outreach efforts.

       Assess the investment needs and objectives of institutional and corporate clients, offering personalized recommendations from the firm's suite of investment products and services.

       Conduct thorough analyses of clients' existing portfolios and financial situations to tailor investment proposals that address their specific requirements.

       Stay abreast of competitors' products, services, and sales tactics to effectively counter resistance from prospects and differentiate the firm's offerings.

       Leverage insights gained from competitor analysis to refine sales pitches and value propositions, highlighting the unique benefits of our investment solutions.

       Create clear and compelling written proposals for prospects, outlining the firm's investment approach, product offerings, and value-added services.

       Effectively manage new and existing client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for inquiries, requests, and account management.

       Proactively identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional investment products and services to meet clients' evolving needs.

       Prepare and submit accurate sales reports on time, detailing sales activities, client interactions, and progress towards sales targets.

       Utilise CRM systems and sales tracking tools to maintain up-to-date records of clients communications and sales pipeline.

       Leverage technology tools and platforms to enhance sales effectiveness, streamline client communications, and facilitate remote client engagement.

       Stay informed about emerging technologies and digital marketing trends to optimize client acquisition and retention strategies.

       Collaborate with team members to support organizational goals and collective sales efforts, sharing best practices and insights.

       Provide mentorship and assistance to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.

       Promptly address and resolve customer problems and complaints, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and retention among institutional and corporate clients.



Requirements

Requirements:

       Bachelor's degree (minimum 2nd Class Upper) or HND (Upper Credit) in a Finance, or related field.

       Minimum of 3 years experience in marketing Investment Products in Nigeria

       Sound knowledge of Nigerian capital and money markets.

       Preferably registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) as a sponsored individual.

       Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and colleagues.

       Proficiency in written and spoken English language.

       Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word for creating compelling presentations and documents.
