Inpatient Rehabilitation Clinical Liaison - Prn

Three (3) years of clinical experience in an inpatient setting. One of the following\: -Missouri Board of Nursing RN or Nurse Licensure Compact multi-state RN. When primary state of residency changes, compact state RNs must apply under new state of residency within thirty (30) days, or -Occupational Therapist (OT) licensure by the Missouri Board of Occupational Therapy, or -Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure by the Missouri Commission for Speech-Language Pathologists, and Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) certification from American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or -Physical Therapist (PT) licensure by the Missouri Board of Registration for the Healing Arts or PT Compact multi-state privilege. When primary state of residency changes, compact state PTs must apply under new state of residency within thirty (30) days.

ABOUT THE JOB

Your role as a liaison extends beyond the hospital walls, engaging with the community through educational programs and marketing initiatives to foster collaboration with physicians, social workers, and insurance companies. You are a proactive communicator, responding to referral requests promptly and ensuring complete and accurate patient assessment information. Your personal touch shines as you personally develop referral sources, conduct in-services, and arrange tours, building positive relationships with stakeholders.

In addition to your clinical expertise, you play a crucial role in marketing our inpatient rehabilitation unit, contributing to maintenance and growth. Your ability to understand regulatory standards and demonstrate appropriate clinical skills sets you apart. As a forward-thinker, you contribute to strategic planning, identifying opportunities for improved services and addressing customer needs. Continuous learning is ingrained in your professional ethos, attending workshops, reviewing publications, and participating in societies.
