Three (3) years of clinical experience in an inpatient setting. One of the following\: -Missouri Board of Nursing RN or Nurse Licensure Compact multi-state RN. When primary state of residency changes, compact state RNs must apply under new state of residency within thirty (30) days, or -Occupational Therapist (OT) licensure by the Missouri Board of Occupational Therapy, or -Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure by the Missouri Commission for Speech-Language Pathologists, and Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) certification from American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or -Physical Therapist (PT) licensure by the Missouri Board of Registration for the Healing Arts or PT Compact multi-state privilege. When primary state of residency changes, compact state PTs must apply under new state of residency within thirty (30) days.

ABOUT THE JOB  

MU Health Care is looking for a dynamic and compassionate Inpatient Rehabilitation Clinical Liaison to join our team at CRMC. As the ideal candidate, you possess a passion for facilitating the safe and efficient admission of patients to our inpatient rehabilitation unit. Your role as a liaison extends beyond the hospital walls, engaging with the community through educational programs and marketing initiatives to foster collaboration with physicians, social workers, and insurance companies. You are a proactive communicator, responding to referral requests promptly and ensuring complete and accurate patient assessment information. Your personal touch shines as you personally develop referral sources, conduct in-services, and arrange tours, building positive relationships with stakeholders.

In addition to your clinical expertise, you play a crucial role in marketing our inpatient rehabilitation unit, contributing to maintenance and growth. Your ability to understand regulatory standards and demonstrate appropriate clinical skills sets you apart. As a forward-thinker, you contribute to strategic planning, identifying opportunities for improved services and addressing customer needs. Continuous learning is ingrained in your professional ethos, attending workshops, reviewing publications, and participating in societies.
