We are a brand new clinic situated in the picturesque locality of Virginia Water in Surrey. Despite our recent opening on January 9th, we are committed to establishing a strong client base from the ground up. At our clinic, patient and client care takes precedence above all else. While we operate independently, we prioritize the well-being of both our patients and clients.

 

Position Overview:

 

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Veterinarian to help us expand our clinic. The ideal candidate will be eager to contribute to our mission, willing to learn, and committed to providing exceptional veterinary care. While our current caseload is relatively low, it is steadily increasing, offering an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to grow with us.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive veterinary care to patients in accordance with clinic protocols and standards.
  • Perform medical assessments, diagnose illnesses, and develop treatment plans.
  • Conduct surgical procedures as needed, adhering to best practices and ensuring patient safety.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear explanations of diagnoses and treatment options.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to deliver outstanding patient care and client service.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

 

Requirements:

  • RCVS Registered.
  • 2-3 years of post-graduate experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and handle sole charge responsibilities.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
  • Flexibility to work a 4.5-day week with rotating Saturday morning shifts.

 

Additional Information:

 

Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.

Mentorship: The lead veterinarian holds an ECC certificate and has extensive teaching experience, offering mentorship and support to facilitate professional growth.

Start Date: While we prefer candidates who can start later in the year, we are open to discussing flexible start dates for the right individual.
