Introduction

Reporting to Team Leader – Regulatory Support - Building, this position is full-time and responsible for piecing together the relevant information historic and current on a property.

This role would suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment that requires accuracy and attention to detail. The salary range is $49000 to $58000 per annum.

Skills And Experiences

As the successful applicant you will have:

  • a diploma level or higher in Business studies, or a similar qualification
  • 3+ years’ experience in an administrative role
  • experience in local government would be an advantage but not essential
  • strong customer service and the ability to build relationships
  • high level of proficiency in Microsoft applications 
  • strong verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at various levels
  • the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • sound analytical, practical and report writing skills.
  • the ability to become familiar with property files and the District Plan classifications
  • the ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining high levels of accuracy
  • a demonstrated sense of urgency to meet legislative deadlines
