Job Description

Finance Officer -  NSW State Government - We are recruiting 

• NSW State Government
• Duration: ASAP - August 2024 potent. Extension
• Up to $332 per day + Super
• Parramatta SQ + Hybrid Working

Duties:

• Providing accurate, professional and timely financial reporting and transactional support
• Day-to-day finance duties, journal processing, month end and year end processing, reconciliations, internal control and compliance check, finance documentation, following up outstanding items and escalating complex issues
• Undertake and complete financial reporting requirements, actively participate a 
• Answer queries from internal and external stakeholders, liaise with auditors and handle audit queries, liaise with external services provider like custodian
• Participate in finance projects and other ad hoc tasks to provide supports to the senior finance officers and managers in the Finance Performance Team

Essentials & Requirements

• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Strong accounting knowledge and practical accounting experiences
• Committed to deadlines and able to work multitask
• Relevant experience dealing with stakeholders - Responding to Audit inquiries
  
• Exposure in infrastructure or NSW Government agencies preferred
• Good SAP and Excel skills
