ABOUT THE ROLE
Arc is looking for a fun, reliable person to join their Retail team. This is a part-time (30 hours per week) role, with the desire to move to full time from June 2024 with the successful candidate, supporting the day-to-day operations of their retail store in an on campus fun environment. This role reports directly to the Retail Store Manager and is required to provide several day-to-day retail and management functions. This role also provides ongoing support to the Retail Store Manager.

Annual salary of $62, 000K pro-rata for 30 hours per week
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assisting the Store Manager in all areas of daily business operations;
Coordinating, monitoring and reporting in daily operations;
Ensuring the store environment complies with Arc’s WHS policy and procedures;
Maintain and monitor store inventory
Keeping store floor fully stocked and tidy
Embody the values of the company and put customers first
Ordering and Receipt of Stock;
Stocktaking;
Online store maintenance (processing orders, maintaining stock levels).
Must have experience in a similar Retail environment, with knowledge of and ability to manage daily retail operations and adhere to Retail systems and procedures, manage the shop floor on a daily bases, merchandising shop floor, supporting stock control management processes.
Demonstrated managerial skills, with demonstrated experience in a similar position; ability to manage and roster a large 10-50 person team of retail staff for Retail managed events.
High calibre and friendly Customer service with proven ability to deal with a large variety of Retail Customer base, professionally resolve customer queries or respond to requests.
Demonstrated competent use in Windows XP is a MUST, with Advance skills in Word and Excel and intermediate competent skills in other Microsoft Office Applications; ability to quickly learn specific systems to operations.
Demonstrated cash handling skills essential; Manage operational Open and Close/Reconciliations of Retail store
Motivated with the ability to work without supervision.
Multi -tasker – ability to work on a few different projects to support daily operations.
Understanding of cultural diversity issues and awareness;
