- Position: RN: Med Surg (Medical Surgical)
- Location: Federal Way, WA
- Pay Rate: $56-$58 per hour
- Shift: Nights: 3*12's
- Work Week: 36 hours per week
- Shift Notes: Nights, Weekends as needed, First to float
- Duration: 13 weeks
Responsibilities
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the medical-surgical unit.
- Assess and monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and implement treatment plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and facilitate timely interventions.
- Perform routine and emergency procedures as needed.
- Assist in patient education on post-treatment care and recovery.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.

Unit Notes:
- Unit Med/Surg
- # Beds 28
- Nurse:Patient Ratios 1:4-5
- RT Equipment (i.e., Cpap, BiPap, High Flow, vents, etc.) Cpap and established bipaps only
- Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?) 0600-1830 Day shift, 1800-0630a Night shift
- Weekend Requirement Yes
- Holiday Requirement Yes
- Is there Call or a Standby requirement? will be hired through regional float pool. when staff is not needed by unit, can be floated else where that willneed support
- Floating Requirements? Yes
- Charting System: Epic
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
- Current state licensure(Willing to Wait) and AHA BLS
- Experience or 'Must have' skills - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- BSN preferred - 2+ years related work experience is preferred -

Requirements
- REQUIRES 2 YEARS of recent EXPERIENCE IN THEIR SPECIALTY
- COVID Vaccination/ Valid CPR
- Updated Resume
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. and ACLS
- Good communication skills.
- RN WA State or Compact license
