General Job Description

Create and execute organizational MedEd and training strategy for Lima’s focus products. Closely collaborate with Lima’s marketing and sales teams along with Lima’s consultants to streamline adoption of Lima products in clinical practices and the operating rooms. Assess what skills and content need to be taught, implement training programs, and track training progress and results. As a part of a small team, this individual must not only plan and execute the MedEd and training programs but must become a subject matter expert and deliver MedEd and training content themselves.

Specific Responsibilities

Responsible for managing and implementing the delivery of medical education activities;
Develop and facilitate Educational events by working directly with key surgeon faculty and surgeon educators;
Conduct accurate learning needs analysis to ensure appropriateness of instructional materials at each event;
Work closely with Instructors and Faculty to assess their instructional effectiveness;
Identify the capabilities, skills, and knowledge required of sales representatives to be successful;
Identify the capabilities, skills, and knowledge required of customers to successfully adopt our products;
In collaboration with marketing and sales management, identify segmentation criteria for training recipients and tailor training curriculum as appropriate based on target segments;
Determine tools and content required to deliver successful training and manage the process and timeline for their creation;
Plan and coordinate training curricula and courses including testing to determine successful achievement of learning objectives where appropriate;
Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure and track success of training programs. Adapt approaches to training based on results.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree from accredited educational institution or equivalent experience/combined education, with 4+ years of professional experience.
Additional Requirements: Experience in orthopedic or medical device industry is a plus.
Satisfactory references from employers, supervisors, and/or professional peers
Satisfactory pre-employment screening results, including but not limited to criminal background screenings and drug screening results.
