As the Senior Director, Patient Support Services you will lead all patient support programs and services in preparation for our launch. You will report directly to the incoming Vice President, Market Access and collaborate with our highly talented team focused on the achievement of our company goals that will enable Galera to bring our novel therapies to patients.

Day to day…

You will lead the Patient Support Services Department within the Market Access Function including:
The reimbursement and access hub
Patient Assistance Program
Branded copay program
Field reimbursement Manager (FRM) plant of action (POA) s
You will design and deploy the Patient Support Services Program:
Work closely with Pricing, Trade & Channel, Marketing, and Market Access to design patient flow model and relationship between distribution network and HUB.
Select HUB, copay, and PAP vendors, lead contracting process, manage vendor relationships.
Work closely with Marketing to brand the program and develop associated messages and materials.
You will determine Patient Assistance Program support (free-drug, co-pay card) as appropriate.
You will develop the strategic and operational plan for Field Reimbursement Managers (FRMs):
The FRMs will be oncology industry-leading, non-sales professionals who educate offices on the prescribing process, customer and patient reimbursement Support Programs, and other Patient Support Services available as provided by Galera.
Work collaboratively across the organization to assist in development of access educational materials for HCPs.
You will participate in Business Reviews highlighting successes and working with Managed Markets and Sales to optimize access.

You will succeed in this role when…

You possess a BA/BS, an MBA is preferred.
You have 7-10 years of relevant experience, which includes building Patient Support Services
Must be able to travel up to 40% of the time to meet vendors, lead/manage a field team, attend internal/external meetings, conventions and etc., as appropriate.
You have experience managing one or more product HUBs (experience designing, building and managing preferred)
You must have:
A strong understanding of the US payer/reimbursement landscape, understanding how patient support programs operate in this environment
Experience managing contracted vendors and call centers
Experience with reimbursement and access for medical benefit (Part B) medicines
You have experience in Oncology therapeutic experience in:
Field Sales or Field Reimbursement experience
Product launch
Products that go through specialty distribution/specialty pharmacy
You are proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
You can work on complex problems in which analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.
You possess excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
You possess strong organizational skills with strong ability to multi-task, plan and prioritize.
You thrive in a fast pace, start-up environment and manage shifting priorities with ease.
